Gradually raise the throttle of your mini helicopter until it starts to lift off from the ground. When it reaches a foot or two above the ground, reduce the throttle a little to allow it to land again. Then release the throttle.
Adjust the trim to compensate for any spin. If your mini RC helicopter spins to the left direction when it was lifting off the ground, adjust the trim to the right. If it spun right, adjust it to the left.
Repeat the trim adjustment steps until the micro heli remains pretty stable with little or no turn when you lift it up.
Put the helicopter back in the center of the room and increase the throttle until it lifts off the surface. Reduce the throttle slightly to get it to stop at a set height, about a foot above the floor.
